Yam
YAM is especially useful for society. As per the Patanjali Yog sutra, there are mainly five forms of Yam which includes;
Ahimsa (Non-Violence):- it is one of the very difficult practices to follow as it connects non-violence to all in word.
Satya (Truth):- as the word describes, a thing or a person exactly as he is, sees, or experience.
Asteya (Non-Stealing):- it is the practice which means that one should acquire things by honest means. In other words, not by stealing or cheating or resorting.
Brahmchary (Celibacy):- it is the source of all energy which means restraining sense organs from activities that might cause a lapse from countenance.
Aparigrah (Abstinence from Avariciousness):- it is the possession of property and wealth more than the basic need.
